Although Partnership
Development Managers (PDMs) and schools cannot apply
to take part in the programme directly, if they want
to get involved then they can find out who is their
nearest FIA member club/centre and approach them directly.
The
Information
Sheet can be downloaded and then used as an information
tool for the PDM/school to approach their local club/centre.
Please also remember that if they require any further
details then they can always contact the FIA on 0207
202 4711. The clubs/centres have all received information
on the programme and the role of the PDM/school would
be to encourage them to get involved.
The FIA will be heavily promoting Adopt a School to its
members so you can either wait to be contacted or you
can be pro-active and approach your nearest club/centre
directly. The FIA have supplied branded template letters
for you to approach your nearest club/centre. If they
are a member of the FIA then please forward them the
FIA
Member Template Letter.
If there is a club/centre nearby who is not a member
of the FIA please approach them by using the
Non-FIA
Member Template Letter because they may be in the
process of joining. It would also be useful to send them
a copy of the
Information
Sheet just in case they are unaware of the programme.
A document which explains the
Opportunities
Available to Clubs/Centres from taking part in
the programme can also be downloaded and given to the
club/centre.
